Sometimes I call Dan, "Dan, my little man". When we first met - he suggested I call him that to remember his name and joking about height. But I don't call him "little" because he is short. I certainly don't call him "little" because he is petty or belittling in things he does or says; he is so positive and can make people feel so special and important. But, sometimes I call him my "little man" because once in a while I get a glimpse of the little boy in him.
This is a horny toad that Dan found outside on his run the other day. He caught it and brought it home to show me. He was so excited to show me what he'd found and wanted me to see it. It made me smile.
I love Dan, my little man.

awww... that is cute... the post, not the toad... that thing is creepy looking... yet cool at the same time. :)
I love it when the little people in all of us comes out. I hope that he never stops finding pleasure in the simple fun things. I never intend to.
That's funny you say that about Dan, because you're the exact same way - you appreciate the little stuff in life that usually only kids notice, but that make life so incredibly great. At least, that's how I usually picture you.
I love you, Tina! Tell Dan congrats on his grand slam. :)
I love Dan too. And he is a better man (which is hard to do) because he married you Tiny. We love you so much.

Tiny, I love you for many reasons but one reason...is because you find the joy in my Daniel. I know he is yours but before he was yours he was mine and I too love the little boy you see so clearly. I love you.
